PDF Kite

Merge PDF files

Combine several PDFs into one file. Add the PDFs, drag them into the right order and merge them; nothing is uploaded.

Runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

How to use it

  1. Choose two or more PDF files, or drag them onto the box.
  2. Drag the files into the order you want. The first page of each is shown so you can tell them apart.
  3. Press “Merge PDFs” to download one combined PDF.

A PDF merger that keeps your files private

Combining PDFs usually means uploading every file to an online PDF merger. Here the files are read and joined inside your browser, so a set of contracts, payslips or medical letters never passes through anyone's server.

Combine PDF files in the right order

Pages are joined file by file in the order shown. To reorder individual pages or drop some after merging, open the merged file in Organize PDF; to take pages out of one file first, use Extract pages.

FAQ

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

No fixed limit. Very large merges are bounded by your device's memory: a few hundred megabytes in total is fine on a laptop.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not while they're locked. Remove the password with Unlock PDF first (you'll need to know it), then merge.

Are bookmarks and links kept?

The pages, text, images and form fields' appearance are kept. Bookmarks from the original files aren't carried into the merged PDF.

Can I combine PDFs on a phone?

Yes. Pick the files from Files or Downloads on iPhone or Android and the merged PDF is saved to your downloads.
