Your files
Every tool on PDF Kite runs inside your browser. Files you open are read and processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. Nothing from them is kept: close or reload the page and they're gone.
Hosting
PDF Kite is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and block attacks, Cloudflare processes what every web request carries, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for, and it may set a security cookie to tell visitors from bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. We don't keep logs of our own.
Cookies and storage
PDF Kite itself sets no cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the next page you open uses it.
Analytics
We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see which pages and tools get used and whether files open and convert. It does not set cookies or store anything on your device. It never receives your files, their names or their contents: for a file you open, it only learns its size and type.
